Butterfly Glimmer was inspired by the quiet transformations that happen after difficult seasons, the small glimmers of light, beauty, and wonder that begin to return when we least expect them.
Flowing acrylic pours and blended colour movement create abstracted butterfly wings suspended between softness and motion, like iridescent flashes caught briefly in the light. Hints of shimmer drift through the pieces like faerie dust, while layered curves and flowing forms evoke the feeling of transformation unfolding slowly and naturally.
A butterfly begins earthbound before becoming something entirely different. Hidden away. Unravelling quietly before emerging transformed. I think humans transform like that too.
