Festive creativity, connection & a little Christmas magic.

For a few magical weeks each year, the Essex Studio gets an extra sprinkling of Christmas.

Join me in the cosy, candle-lit studio for a collection of festive creative workshops designed especially for women. Each workshop gives you two hours to step away from the Christmas rush, experiment with beautiful materials and create something special to take home and enjoy throughout the season.

Come with friends, come by yourself, choose one workshop or make a little festive tradition of trying a few.

No previous experience is needed. Everything you need to create will be waiting for you.

Bauble, Ink & Flow

Let go of control and watch the magic happen as alcohol inks flow, blend and dance across your Christmas baubles.
You'll experiment with vibrant inks, metallic details and a sprinkling of sparkle to create ethereal patterns that can never be replicated exactly, meaning every bauble you make will be completely unique.
This workshop is all about colour, experimentation and trusting the process, with a little festive magic thrown in.

Macrame Garlands

Spend a cosy couple of hours learning the art of macramé as you transform simple cord into a beautiful handmade Christmas garland.
You'll learn the knots and techniques needed to create a collection of little macramé trees before bringing them together into a festive garland ready to hang at home year after year.
It's tactile, rhythmic and wonderfully satisfying, the perfect workshop if you love decorations with a handmade, timeless feel.

Resin Tree Trinkets

Discover the mesmerising world of epoxy resin while creating your own collection of festive tree decorations.
Play with festive colours, glitters and tiny enchanting details as you pour and layer your designs, creating completely unique decorations that shimmer as they catch the Christmas lights.
You'll be guided through the process while having plenty of freedom to experiment and make each piece your own.

Botanical Candles

Create your own beautifully scented pillar candles, adorned with botanicals and inspired by the scents and textures of the festive season.
You'll choose your fragrance and botanicals before learning how to mix, pour and decorate your candles, creating something that feels completely your own.
A gorgeous opportunity to play with scent, nature and candle magic while creating something to illuminate your home throughout the darker winter evenings.
