Creatrix Collective
A nurturing in-person art membership rooted in self-discovery, creative freedom, and seasonal rhythm
This is not an art class…
It’s a space to come back to yourself.
To breathe.
To play.
To listen to the quiet magic inside you.
To create without comparison.
To make art that feels like you.
The Creatrix Collective is an ongoing in-person membership designed to help you build your own creative practice — intuitive, joyful, and true to your rhythm.
You’ll have the freedom to explore at your own pace, or the option to work closely with me in small group mentorship. All in a calm, welcoming studio space in rural Essex.
This space is for you if...
You’ve always been creative (even if you forgot for a while)
You’re craving time that’s just for you
You want to feel more confident in your artistic style
You long for a calm, welcoming space where you can relax and express yourself
You’ve been through a big life change — a loss, a shift, a letting go — and need somewhere to land gently
You want to build a practice that feels nourishing, not overwhelming
You’re tired of feeling stuck, blocked, or unsure — and ready to find joy again
Whether you’re stepping into a new season of life, healing from something hard, or simply carving out space to rediscover yourself — this is a place to land gently and create something just for you.

Here’s what Creatrix members have to say…
What it looks like…
Hello Fellow Artist,
(yes, you are one, even if you’re just beginning),
I’m Amy — an intuitive artist, creative guide, and studio owner based in Essex.
Art has always been a part of my life, but for years I was caught in perfectionism, comparison, and the fear of not being “good enough.” I’ve been a pastry chef, an art teacher, and a people-pleaser… until I finally chose to trust my creative voice and carve a path that felt like mine.
Now, I run a cosy studio in rural Sible Hedingham where I hold space for others to reconnect with their creativity, build confidence in their style, and let go of the pressure to get it right.
My work is rooted in intuition, play, and seasonal rhythm — and my greatest joy is watching others come home to themselves through art.
This isn’t just about becoming “better” at art.
It’s about remembering that you’re already whole, and that your creativity is a part of that.
Come and create with me. Let’s find your voice together.

FAQs
-
The short answer is yes.
I would recommend creating a member’s login on the scheduling app so that you are able to see what you have booked and what you have left to book for the month.
Bookings should be made with at least 24-hours notice. You will not be entitled to join a session if you do not make a booking.
-
If you need to cancel a session, please let me know directly by emailing hello@artwithamylouise.co.uk. All cancellations must go through me.
Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice, and you can do this yourself via the booking system.
If you cancel or don’t attend with less than 24 hours’ notice, the session will be lost and can’t be rebooked.
-
All members have access to studio equipment that doesn’t run out, such as paintbrushes, palettes, palette knives, and water pots.
If you’d like to use art materials (paints, papers, collage supplies, etc.) during your own studio time, you can add a materials package to your membership for an additional monthly cost. This includes:
Cartridge paper
Watercolour paper
Yupo paper
Coloured paper
Display cartridge paper
Acrylic paint supplies
Alcohol ink supplies
Watercolour supplies
Collage supplies
Mediums

Creativity is an ongoing journey, and both the Creatrix Studio and Creatrix Mentorship are designed to support you for as long as you want to be part of them.
Creatrix Mentorship — Minimum 3-month commitment from when you join, then 4 weeks’ notice to cancel.
Creatrix Studio — Flexible month-to-month membership, with 4 weeks’ notice to cancel.
There’s no set “end” — you can stay for months or years, building your practice, confidence, and connection over time.
-
There’s no single “style” here — this is a space to explore what lights you up and feels true to you. Many members work with collage, watercolours, acrylics, or alcohol inks, but you’re not limited by medium or experience.
Themes are often inspired by the seasons and cycles of the year, and past work has explored:
Nature, travel, and memory
Joy, emotion, and personal storytelling
The elements (earth, air, fire, water)
The lunar cycle and seasonal shifts
Mythical creatures, and imagination
Inner worlds, identity, and mindset
Feminine archetypes and goddess energy
Creating your own oracle or tarot deck
Personal mythology and ancestral stories
Whether you're here to create for self-discovery, personal expression, or just the pure joy of making — your style, pace, and voice are always welcome.

Creatrix Studio members can book their studio time during the following hours:
Monday — 14:30–20:30
Tuesday — 18:30–20:30
Wednesday — 09:30–20:30
Thursday — 14:30–20:30
Friday — 18:30–20:30
Saturday — 14:30–20:30
Sunday — 09:30–17:30
These hours are subject to change if the studio is being used for classes, exhibitions, or special events — any changes will always be communicated in advance.
Creatrix Mentorship Each month I’ll offer 6 hours of small-group mentorship time (usually split across Saturday afternoons and a Friday evening). Members will choose their preferred times, in addition to any Studio hours they may have as part of their membership.
-
You can move into Creatrix Mentorship at any time, as long as there’s space, with a minimum commitment of 3 months.
If you decide to leave Mentorship, you can move to the Creatrix Studio tier (subject to availability) with 4 weeks’ notice — but please note that rejoining Mentorship in the future will depend on space being available and may require joining a waitlist.
This helps keep the group consistent and ensures everyone gets the depth of support and connection they’ve committed to.
-
You don’t need any experience to join. Whether you’re completely new or returning to creativity after a long break, this is a welcoming space to explore at your own pace.
If you are new, I’d recommend joining a mentorship tier where I’ll be able to guide you step-by-step through techniques and projects that suit where you are now.
-
Membership is ongoing, and your hours refresh each month. To keep studio capacity fair for everyone, unused hours can’t be carried over.
Previously, we worked on a rollover system — I’ll honour any outstanding rollover hours you already have so you can still use them. After that, the new “use it within the month” system will apply.

The ‘Semi-Guided’ Format is a unique blend of independent work and professional mentorship. Here’s how it works:
Initial Check-In: At the start of the session, I will check in with each attendee. This is a time to share what you’ve been working on, discuss any challenges you’re facing, and identify areas where you might need guidance or input.
Autonomous Work Time: After the initial check-in, you will have time to work independently on your projects. This is your time to immerse yourself in your creative process, explore new ideas, and develop your artwork.
Accessible Guidance: While you work independently, I will be available for ongoing support. You can seek guidance or ask questions at any point during the session.
Adaptive Check-Ins: Throughout the session, I will periodically check in with attendees to offer assistance as needed. The frequency of these check-ins will be intuitive, based on the session's flow and individual needs.
The semi-guided approach is designed to foster a balance between self-directed art creation and the benefits of having a mentor on hand. This format allows for personal artistic development while still providing support and expertise when it’s most needed.
Whether you’re looking to deepen your artistic practice, seeking guidance on specific techniques, or simply wish to be part of a supportive creative community, these mentored sessions are an ideal space to nurture your artistic soul.
